We’re working on a fantastic new project that will be launching in 2021 to support young people across East Renfrewshire with an additional support need or disability, in finding positive destinations upon leaving school.

Our Employ-Ability programme will provide young people aged 16-24 with a range of opportunities during these key transition stages of leaving school by engaging, inspiring, empowering and connecting them to projects, courses, qualifications and placements, as well as supporting them to achieve their positive destination.

This will be achieved through a range of one to one sessions and small group approaches, to support young people on their journey, by accessing a range of training, advice, support and placements, along with help in applications and interviews, right through to coaching and mentoring programmes.

There will be more information in the coming weeks as we start to build the foundations of this new initiative and as we search for mentors and business partners to work with us, in providing opportunities and placements.
